Robert:  The first FTR Hare scramble this season was a success in my book.  I ended up 4th in the Open A class and 8th overall.  The track was really rough due to all the roots and deep sand whoops.  I was actually the last person to complete 4 laps in 2 hours.  On the first lap, I was in third at one point until my front end washed out in some really deep loamy soil.  On the second lap, I fell again while I was trying to pass Brian Koster. Brian rode a really consistent race which made him really hard to pass.  Afterwards, I charged to get in the top three but I couldn't.  I didn't get a great start either.  These mistakes are definitely what kept me out of the top three.  I know my conditioning is great; I just need to cut out the mistakes.  This week, I will be getting a new KX450F through Action Kawasaki so I am very excited about what's going on as far as racing goes.  I want to give congratulation to Andrew Stanton for finishing 6th in the C 200 class in his first Hare scramble on a big bike. Keep going Andrew!  Our next stop will be in Yadkinville, NC for the Yadkin Valley Stomp GNCC.  May the Lord be with you throughout your week!

Tanner: The Unadilla GNCC was really fun. The motorcross track had some big jumps. I had a good start and was in third on the first lap and half of the second lap. Then I wrecked with a lapped rider and two kids passed me. Then I caught back up and then we started to wreck. I passed a kid but over shot a turn shortly afterwards. I tried to ride over my head and started to wreck. At the end I finished 6th and finished 15th overall.  I know I have the speed to run in the top three, I just need to ride fast and smart throughout the race.

Steele Creek GNCC

9/2/07

Robert: After summer break, I was ready to go GNCC racing again.  The inaugural Mountain Ridge GNCC sat upon the rolling hills of Pennsylvania.  The track was really tough.  After about a mid-pack start, we went through a lot of super dusty fields.  At about the four mile marker, we went into the woods and I was very suprised at how big the rocks were.  I remember coming up to this one section of rocks and people were scattered everywhere.  It only lasted about 100 yards but the rocks were way worse compared to West Virginia.  The rest of the track was actually pretty fun with  the mix of grass sections and dried up stream beds. On the second lap, I hit the side of one rock and the rivet on my brake pedal fell off.  I could use the brake a little but not like I could usually.  I managed to finish out 4 laps during the 3 hour race. I finished 12th, which for what happened during the race, was very acceptable.  I gained a lot of experience and had fun doing it.  Now, I can focus on the first FTR HS coming up in a couple weeks.  I can't wait!

Tanner: The Mountain Ridge GNCC was pretty fun. I had a good start and was in 4th. I dropped back to about 5th place then, afterwards on the second lap I worked my way up to 3rd. Then, I started to wreck  fall back, then I realized I had a flat tire and the tire was coming off the rim. I had to quit the race after 3 laps which was a huge dissapointment. We ended up getting tire balls so I should have no more flats this year.

Robert:  The first FTR Enduro this season was rather exciting.  The track layout was similar to the race held there the year before.  It had two really tight sections which were tough on a 450, but the track also offered many trails with fast flowing sections.  I ended up 6th and 26th overall.  I will admit, I did have a few falls and when it rained I had a few problems with vision.  I was a little disappointed with the finish but, this was honestly the first enduro I have ever finished so I was happy about that.  Also, Decal Works made new AllForJesusRacing.com graphics for the bikes, so I am very excited about that as well.

Tanner: The Lochloosa Enduro was pretty tough. It was also on my birthday. I rode my CRF250 in the C class. The woods were pretty tight and about half way through it started to rain pretty hard. I felt good and ended up 3rd.  For my first race on the big bike, I am pretty satisfied with my results.

Snowshoe GNCC

7/1/07

Tanner: The Spartan GNCC in Kentucky and the Snowshoe GNCC in West Virginia were very good weekends. Kentucky was my first GNCC on my CRf150R and was very fun. I got a good start and was in about 6th place and started to work my way through the pack. I was in 2nd at one point then I wrecked.I got up in about 8th and worked my way through the pack again and finished 4th class and 11th overall.  The Snowshoe GNCC was a fun and successful weekend. The start was unusual but fun. My best friend got the same row as me and we just started to ride as fast as we could. The track was very fast and I felt good on it. I fell a lot but mananged to do good. I was in 3rd at one piont and then I fell back one spot to 4th. I finished 4th in my class and 11th overall.

Tanner's New Bike

Robert: The Spartan GNCC in Kentucky is now over as is the Snowshoe GNCC in West Virginia.  The Spartan GNCC was a very fun race, probably the best track I rode this year.  I got a great jump off the start and made a mistake on the first lap and got stuck in a tree.  From that point on I just tried to race as hard as I could through the tight woods and rocks that filled the race track.  On the first lap I was in 15th and by the end of my race I worked up to 10th place with hardly any problems.  I feel as if I could do better, but I just need to get a bit smarter the first lap and stop making key mistakes.  The Snowshoe GNCC sat upon the most beautiful scenery at any GNCC yet.  But don't let the scenery fool you, this one of the toughest races I've ever attended.  I started on row 27 on the main road of the Snowshoe ski resort at elevation 4848.  I was second out of four racers on my row.  The first part of the track was very fast because we raced up and down many ski slopes.  Once we went in the woods, the track was absolutely brutal.  The roots were everywhere and once you clipped one the wrong way, you were on the ground.  In some sections there were rocks and streams that many were stuck in, including myself a few times.  I had to get off my bike a number of times a push or pull my bike through sections of the track.  There was one hill in particular that was very tough to get up because of the big ruts leading up to it.  In the end I finished in 14th which is alright considering the conditions.  I was pleased to get through this race.  Well now summer break is upon us and I have tons of work to do.  I have a lot of bike work and training to do to better myself.  I am also going to work on videos and work on getting the website better.  Pray that everything goes good and enjoy the summer most of all!  God bless!

Robert: Well the Kentucky GNCC starts this weekend and I can't wait.  Its been a month since the John Penton GNCC.  The 24 Hour Challenge this past weekend in Maplesville, Alabama was a great experience.  I was fortunate enough to racewith the Action Kawasaki team in the 250 Expert class on a KX 250.  It has been a while since I rode a two stroke but it was really not that different.  The bike rode excellent and handled very well in the tighter woods.  Our team was in first the first couple laps and fell back to second afterwards.  When it was my turn to ride the bike, we ran out of gas due to the very clogged up filter because of all the dust.  We had to change the filter every three laps.  Because we ran out of gas, we lost a lap and a half.  We were then in seventh place.  Throughout the night, we worked our way back up to fourth and almost caught third place.  We ended up finishing in fourth place which isn't too bad.  The track was super dusty due to the lack of rain.  I rode around 3:00 in the afternoon and about 3:30 in the morning.  When I rode in the morning, I washed out going down the hill beacause my brakes gave out on me.  Besides that, I rode pretty smooth which was hard to do because of all the deep sand whoops, ruts, and dust.  The Elite Action Kawasaki team ended up fourth as well due to a few bike issues.  My team consisted of myself, Michael Moody, Jonathan Belle, Paul Dietz, Logan Fleisher, and Shane Berry.  I learned a lot and hope to do the race next year as well.  Pray that everything goes smooth this weekend.  Have a great weekend!!

Tanner: This weekend I did a local motorcrcross race at Alma, Georgia on my brand new Honda CRF 150R. I got the bike the day before so this was my first time riding it. In the youth12-15 class I finished 2nd overall and in the supermini class I ended up 4th overall.

5/17/07

From now on both Tanner and I will do seperate race updates.

Robert: The John Penton GNCC is now over and I feel disapointed in myself.  I pulled a great start in around fourth or fifth place and just couldn't get comfortable on the hard, rocky clay terrain.  I just had my bike lowered an inch and the suspension felt totally different.  I was in the hunt on the first lap and just started falling back after making a few mistakes.  On the second lap, I fell and bounced off a few trees.  In the end, I finished 13th.  I feel as if I can do way better, I just haven't proved myself yet.  It's coming soon, I can feel it.  My next GNCC race will be in Sparta, Kentucky.  I will be doing some testing with the Action Kawasaki Team for the 24 Hour Challenge in Perry Mountain in Alabama.  I can't wait.  God Bless!

Tanner: The John Penton GNCC was not really a good race. My bike was running fine the day before than at the start of the race the bike was not running good. It was getting caught in gear and kept shutting off. I got 16th, but for now on I will be working on getting top five finishes because I just got a new Honda CRF 150R!!

5/5/07

Well the last two GNCC races are now over and they were semi sucessful.  Tanner received two 12th place finishes because of bike problems.  I didn't race the Big Buck GNCC due to sickness and I finished 10th at Loretta Lynns which I was happy with.  The Loretta Lynn's GNCC was very fun and I now realize that I just need to be more aggressive the first two laps so I can be near the top five at the end of the race.  We are currently working on getting a corporate sponsor for next years racing season so pray everything will work out.  I am doing a FTR Enduro and my brother is racing a local motocross race this weekend. I hope everyone has a great weekend of racing.  God Bless!!

Dirt Farm

This past weekend was really exciting for my brother, Tanner won all of his motos at the Florida/Georgia race we attended just across the Geogia border at Dirt Farm.  He won the 12-15 youth class and the Supermini class.  He rode really well.  I got a pair of 2nd places in the 16-29 class and the 250 B class. I almost wonthe 250 B class but slid out right before the big double in the back portion of the track.  It's alright though, I may have started riding motocross first but I'm way better in the woods.  Ryan Szabo, fast local motocross racer, was flying in the 16-29 class.  It's still fun to race motocross sometimes though.  This weekend we are going to race the Big Buck GNCC in South Carlina.  I am still not sure if I am going to race due to sickness.  I am just going to wait and see how I feel by the end of the week. The GNCC races are tough, especially when one does not have normal energy.  If I can't race, I'm definately going to race the FTR race at Chipley.  My brother, Tanner, will definately race the GNCC.  We hope you have a great week!!

Dirt Farm Motocross

3/30/07

The Steele Creek GNCC was a huge success.  The AllforJesusRacing.com team was blessed tremendously.  I finished in 10th place in the Open A class.  My brother finished in 8th in the Big Wheel 12-13 year old class.  These  results were totally unexpected in the mountains of North Carolina because we are so used to the sands of Florida.  I guess all the training and racing we did up north is really paying off.  This past weekend was really fun and the racing was exciting.  I came back from a dead last start to 10th place.  I was in 8th but I crashed on the last lap on a hill.  Besides that, the track was pretty fun and demanding.  I am just happy to have the confidence that I can be a top 10 rider in the GNCC Series after a bad start to the series.  This weekend we are going to a local motocross race in Georgia so that should be fun.  Also, look for a new video on our page in the next week or so.  Have a blessed week!!!

3/12/07

Well the the first two GNCCs are already over.  For our team, the season started off fairly successful. Tanner finished in 7th at the Triton in Florida and10th at the General GNCC in Georgia in the Big Wheel 12-13 year old class.  I finished in 19th and 16th in the Open A class, not what I was hoping for, but hoping to improve.  I just need more experience on the GNCC circuit.  The AllforJesusRacing.com team will be doing the entire series.  Our next stop will be in Morganton, N.C.  We will continue to work and train hard for the Steele Creek GNCC.  I've actually met many new Christian people honoring Christ at the track as well because of my new banner.  This has been a great encouragement for me to live for Christ even more.  One nice gentleman even prayed for the riders before the race with me.  This has been a huge blessing with all the encouragement I get. I have this whole new desire to have an impact on other people's life through racing.  If you happen to see me or my brother at the track, don't hesitate to stop by and say hey.  We would love to spend time with you.  God Bless!

3/2/07

The past two weekends have been a bit of disappointing for me but, fun at the same time.  At the FTR Harescramble in Sweetwater I got sixth in the Open A class and at Gatorback I finished eigth because of bike problems. Tanner on the other hand finished sixth and second in the Mini B class.  We will be attending the Triton GNCC this week and are packing to leave tommorrow.  But, no matter what we will still honor the Lord Jesus Christ.

Well, the SETRA Race we attended last weekend was pretty successful and fun.  I got sixth in the Open A class and my brother received sixth as well in the Big Wheel 12-13 class. We are definately attending the Sweetwater FTR Harescramble this weekend. God Bless and we hope to see you at the race track.

As of today, the AllforJesusracing.com team has signed on Monster energy drink for the 2007 racing season.  We look forward to working with Monster  throughout the year.  Here's the link to see further information about Monster Energy.  Also, this weekend we will be attending an FTR Harescramble at Osteen, FL.  We are looking forward to the exciting racing, especially me, Robert, because of a broken thumb.  We are looking forward to glorifying Christ in everything we do.
